Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. –January 5th, 2006 – ADATA (TAIEX: 3260), the largest Memory Module Company in Taiwan, announced today that net sales for December 2005 and non-audited sales for Year 2005.
Total December 2005 sales revenue of NT$2,987 million remains the same revenue level on a month-on month basis to November 2005, but decreased 9.2% from NT$3,291 million on a year-on-year basis. Non-audit revenues for whole Year 2005 were NT$31,966 million, increased 22.1% compared to Year 2004.
As for Product mix, ADATA Flash Product in Year 2005 exceeded NT$10billion, up to NT$10.2 billion. Accounts to nearly 32% of ADATA total sales revenue for whole year. Compared to NT$3billion Flash product sales in Year 2004, ADATA Flash product had post a prominent growth last year.
Looking back at December 2005, demand for DDRII turned strong since the middle of the month. DDRII shipment increases helped DRAM product sales revenue grow up to NT$1,898 million in December. However, Flash product demand decreased in sales in December 2005 from November 2005 sales of NT$1,285 million to NT$1,071 million.
Projecting demand for January 2006, ADATA thinks demand for DDRII will increase, due to inventory reduction in the supply chain. However, DDRI demand may remain flat. Flash B/B Ratio down to 1.05 from 1.2 last month.
